Virage Logic offer the broadest portfolio of embedded multiple time programmable NVM in the industry. The AEON® family of products (acquired from Impinj in June 2008) addresses the needs of a wide range of fabless markets while the NOVeA® family has been developed and used in military and government applications (primarily through the Trusted Foundry program at IBM).

Both AEON and NOVeA have been developed using proven floating gate technology in standard CMOS processes and share the following features:

• Compatible with standard CMOS processing with no additional masks or process steps
• Electrically reprogrammable up to 100k cycles
• Integrated high voltage circuitry enabling operation from a single supply
• Support for densities up to 16k bits

• AEON/MTP Parallel – low bit count applications such as analog trim or encryption keys
• AEON/MTP EEPROM – high endurance applications such as power management and configuration settings
• AEON/FTP – cost sensitive applications where a few times programming is sufficient
• NOVeA – similar to AEON/MTP EEPROM, but focused on military and government applications through the Trusted Foundry program
• NOVeA RFID and AEON/MTP RFID – standard CMOS based NVM solutions optimized for the UHF and HF RFID markets
